Now that we are in South Africa and there is GPRS/EDGE service we can read and sent email on the BlackBerry (some cities in East Africa have the technology but T-Mobile doesn't seem to have roaming deals so the BB never worked). We can now also do "mobile" post from the BB as well. This may result in more frequent but shorter updates-it's hard to type a lot on this little keyboard. It would be awesome to have a BB with a camera as then we could blog and post photos immediately. Unfortunately the BB doesn't do spell checking so expect lots of typos.
By the way, both of us are getting our mail on the BB. We don't always answer right away but we do read it diligently.
Today we spent the day in Mossel Bay. We took a boat ride to Seal Island, which, as the name suggests, is covered with seals (you can see them in the picture). It was a short ride but there were big swell. Amazingly I didn't get seasick.
Tomorrow we're going to Outdshoorn to visit the ostriches.
