We are both tired and hot at the moment so I won't write much. Just wanted to send out the news that we are (finally) here. We had a great time traveling along the Garden Route and in the wine region this past week, but we are ready to settle down for a bit. Mostly we are tired of making plans; what to do where to eat, etc. We are looking forward to a bit of home cooking.
Today marks 18 weeks since we left our flat in London, 10 weeks since we left Paris, and almost 7 weeks since we left San Francisco.
Our place is very nice and has a stunning view. We are on Clifton Beach, facing west so we get to see the sunset (and the Atlantic Ocean). I'll write more, and post some pictures of the flat, later on today. We already bought groceries and snacks but haven't made it to the beach yet; the water is quite cold so there isn't that incentive.
